Nothing much to say. Just some pictures of how my 3 month babies are looking. The 'spot' I have is really trying to fill in. My locs have gotten thicker. The first pic is from week 1 of my Sisterlocks. You can see that they were much thinner there. As I think on it...this post is a good post for anyone with doubts on whether or not their locs will thicken out. They will! I swore my loctitian made mine too small, but clearly she knew what she was doing.

They are maturing nicely!! We have our loc-a-versay 2 days apart and I have only had one retighening and you're already going for your third. Do you think you could space them out more to get more growth? Or you're happy with your current schedule?
ReplyDeleteMy loctitian told me for now until they really mature that she would want me to come every 4 weeks. My hair grows fast...well the middle and the back. When they mature better I can go every 6 to 8 which would be lovely on my pockets! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow long does your retightenings take? Just wondering if its shorter since you're going every four weeks?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have found your blog! I live in the Atlanta area and plan to get my Sisterlocks in September. It looks like I have found my Loctitian as well. Your hair looks great! My hair is much shorter than yours which is why I'm waiting...need to grow a little more hair! and try not to have loc envy! LOL!
ReplyDeleteEvie, I am so glad this blog has been helpful to you. I can't wait for you to start your Sisterlock journey! My loctitian is AWESOME and I am hard on people when it comes to my hair. Feel free to visit her site http://www.natureelglorystudio.com/... She will take great care of you!
ReplyDeleteGigglz, my sessions last about 4 hours. I have A LOT of locs on this big head. I did have some combined along the edges since that is a sensative area.
ReplyDelete4 hours that's what I took my first re-tightening. On Saturday, I have my 2nd retightening which I feel an easy 6 hours!!! Ugh! Have you counted your locks yet?
