Nothing new to report...

I am going in for my 5th reti tomorrow. My hair is REALLY starting to grow. Even though I keep it curled from rollers I can feel the new growth and my middle spot has filled in. The texture in the back is def changing. I will be glad when the front catches on. I see a lot of you are having a lot of growth as well. Ohh, and BIG UPS to Gigglz on becoming a DIYer... That first attempt looks like some pro work for real. Anyway, I am out peeps.

  3. Thanks for the compliment girl! Yeah, in looking back, I hate I pressed my hair so much. I had a lot of sporadic straight ends from all that heat. A MESS. Anyway, I am back to using the Lock Loops… I was using the sponge rollers, but after a while, they get old and start to break off in your hair. Not a good look ESPECIALLY when you have a piece of green roller in your hair that no one has told you about the whole day…LOL. I am thinking of going to the Soft Spikes Web site and ordering some smaller sized rollers since the Lock Loops site doesn’t have any. I am REALLY thinking about buying that tool. I watched the video again and I totally get the reti method. Man, it would be nice to save that money every month. Pondering…

  4. Its all a learning lesson, who knows your locks would have looked different from day one had you not had the pressed ends. Back to the lock loops hah, ok! A piece of roller in your hair and no one told you that is too funny, but embarassing nonetheless!!!! Soft spikes I remember those, why not try just a braid out. Spritz your hair with water and braid let it dry overnight and then take it out.

You definitely should buy the tool!!! its inexpensive, and just think of a day you plan on going out you just might be brave and at least neaten up your hairline to make it look like your whole head is Fresh!!! It would saev money, time, and you can do it when you feel like it!!!

  6. Gigglz, you may just inspire me to learn. At least it would be good to know if I can't get to my loctitian if one slips out.

Felicia, I don't really do much to it. I use the shampoo every now and then, and I don't do a lot of spritzing. I want to be able to get color ASAP so I am applying moisture sparingly to keep them from slipping out.
